Rituals of loss / Loss of rituals

This is a project developed by Art Partner

Together with artists Lina Issa and Erik Willems and in co-creation with employees of Dela Funerals we uncovered new ways to give form to mourning rituals in the COVID-19 pandemic. This artistic research is a quest for more personal and meaningful funerals, leaving behind the set schemes and expectations of what is considered ‘normal’ when dealing with a loss.

Reflecting on this projects, together with Sandra Boer I have written and drawn the steps organisations can take in search for their own rituals.
